At Shin-Kodaira, there is a 5.0 km line from Kunitachi at Chūō Hon line. It is known as Musashino Kunitachi branch line. It is a freight line but it is used by the Musashino service between Hachiōji and Ōmiya.

At Nishi-Urawa, there is a 4.9 km line to Yono at Tōhoku Hon line. It is known as Musashino Ōmiya branch line 大宮支線. It is a freight line but it is used by the Musashino services between Hachiōji/Fuchū-Hommachi and Ōmiya.
From this line, there is another freight branch line, called Nishi-Urawa branch line 西浦和支線, with no offical kilometrage, leading to Musashi-Urawa station. It is used by the Shimōsa service between Ōmiya and Nishi-Funabashi.
