Sapporo city runs three subway lines and one tramway.
The subway trains are guided by a central rail with rubber tires on two narrow steel rollways.
All subway lines passes the Ōdōri station in the City Centre.

Operational this is one route, often called Ichijō-Yamahana, but officially it is three lines as listed above.
Sapporo once had a large tramway network (~25 km). Since 1974 is this the only remaining route.
